iMC S8 Multi Axis Stepper Controller
This High Power Multi Axis stepper controller is shipped READY TO RUN OUT OF THE BOX.
It includes the controller, drivers, power supply, I/O, internal wiring and enclosure.

- This unit can control from 2 to 4 axes of motion and can always be expanded up to 4 axes
- Current can be DIP Switch adjusted for each axis between 2.8A-7.8A/phase
- Axes can individually be adjusted from HALF STEP up to 200 microsteps/step
- The controller is also suppied with PAL-PC motion control software. This is an English language like programming system that lets the user quickly develop automation programs.
- System will take approximately 350 commands
- Programs are stored in battery backed memory - turn on the controller and hit START
- The S8 controller has
- a spindle on/off relay, up to 220V/6A
- 8 inputs at 24VDC,
- 8 outputs at 24VDC/300mA or total of 2A consumption,
- 1 analog output 0-10V for inverter speed control
- Runs off 120VAC or 220VAC
- Compatible with all 2 or 4 phase stepper motors that take up to 3-3.5A/phase
- can be used with all stepper driven ball screw slides or belt drive slides from Isel or other suppliers
- Motor brake relay built in for 24VDC power-off brake
- activates automatically when power is engaged
- can be turned on/off with program control
- Available on all 4 axes
- Controller can be programmed in 3 modes
- Standalone mode with program stored in battery backed memory
- In DNC or direct control mode from ASCII commands sent over RS232 line
- From LabVIEW with free LabVIEW Drivers
